A letter by Rabbi Yosef Gershon Gershonowitz regarding a yeshiva student who according to him needs to leave the yeshiva and go to another yeshiva.
Rabbi Yosef Gershon Gershonowitz was born in 1915, son of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Gershonowitz, Head of the Beit Din of Zabinka near Brisk. He was Head of the Tiferet Zion Yeshiva, son-in-law of Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Edelstein, the rabbi of Ramat HaSharon. He was a disciple of Rabbi Baruch Ber and Rabbi Pesach ofקוברין . In 1937 he immigrated to Israel and became a favorite of the Chazon Ish and the Steipler, who would spend long hours discussing Torah with him. He taught Torah since 1951 was the Rosh Yeshiva in Yeshivat HaNegev from 1975 until his death in 1995. (See about him in the book “Nitzotzei Esh.”)
