Rabbi Dushinsky’s letter has a supplemental recommendation by Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund, in his hand and with his signature and stamp. Rabbi Dushinsky added and signed to confirm the statement on 1 Adar [1990]. Rabbi Weiss’s letter has a supplemental recommendation from Rabbi Yochanan Sofer, in his hand and with his signature and stamp.
Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Weiss (1902-1989) was the rabbi of the Eidah HaCharedis, rabbi, and posek. He authored Shu”t Minchat Yitzchak. He served as dayan in Grosswardein before the Holocaust. After the Holocaust, he returned to Grosswardein to serve as rabbi and Rosh Yeshivah. In 1948, he became av”d in Manchester and established a Kollel Rabbanim. He moved to Eretz Yisrael in 1970 and served as rav”d of the Eidah HaCharedis from 1972 and as gav”d from 1979.Rabbi Yisrael Moshe ben Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky (1921-2003) was the Admor of Dushinsky. He moved to Eretz Yisrael in 1933 and headed the Beit Yosef Zvi Yeshivah. He was appointed dayan in the beit din of the Eidah HaCharedis in 1968 and then rav”d in 1989. In 1996 he became the gav”d.
