Rabbi Nachman used stories to transmit ethical and kabalistic ideas, and even authored a book “Sipurei Ma’asiot” [stories]. These stories are extremely significant in Breslov studies, and many try to interpret their hidden messages.
Rabbi Nachman of Breslov (1772-1810) was a giant of the Chassidic movement, founder of the Breslov chassidut and spiritual leader of tens of thousands. His influence continues to grow today.
