Leaf 1 includes a commentary on Gittin, chapter 4, mishnayot 6-7. Leaves 2-7 feature a commentary on Gittin 5, mishnayot 1-4. Leaves 4-5 mishna Sotta, 5:3-6: 3. With the text.
The leaves were taken out of a binding. Leaves 2-3 and 4-5 are sequential. Leaves 1 and 4 are torn and missing their interior edge. The gutter of leaf 2 is torn, but survives as a separate fragment. Leaf 3 is missing its exterior edge. 5 is torn in the corners. 20 lines to a page. Aging stains. Worming holes. Tears. Poor condition.
Maimonide’s Peirush on the Mishna was particularly revered by Yemenite Jewry and was copied many times.
