Ze’ev Raban integrated lions in many of his works. A similar lion can be seen in “Ze’ev Raban Hebrew Symbolist”, number 127, where it serves as the emblem of the First Maccabiah.
Ze’ev Raban (1890-1970) was a prominent Bezalel artist, who is considered a patriarch of Isareli art.
