Handwritten ledgers with confirmations signed by the community rabbi and the appointee, regarding the rights of Rabbi Yissacher Tauber and family who purchased seats in the Temesvar synagogue.

Rabbi Yissacher’s seat, as written on leaf 2, was in the Eastern section, near the Rabbi. He was apparently a distinguished community member.
Signed on the various confirmations: Rabbi Zvi Hersh Oppenheim, Rabbi of Temesavar from [1821]. He was the son of Rabbi Dovid Oppenheim, the previous rabbi and a direct descendant of the noted Rabbi Dovid Oppeneheim, Rabbi of Prague and Moravia. The second signature belongs to Rabbi Yeshaya Wolf Shenfeld. The seats mentioned on page 2 were purchased in [1816].
