Silver mezuzah case, apparently not hallmarked. Poland, 19th century.
14×5 cm. Formed like a decorated silver plate, with a rectangular box topped by a removable cover for inserting the mezuzah parchment. The upper section of the case features a decorated opening through which the parchment can be seen.
“Rings” for attaching the mezuzah to the doorpost on top and bottom, (missing one ring). Fine condition.
