Six orders of Mishna, with the commentaries of Rambam and Rabbi Ovadiah Bartenura. Both commentaries are separate. Printed twice, before the present edition. However, this is the first edition in which the commentary of the Rambam is printed next to that of the Bartenura together.
The Mishna is printed in the center of the leaf in square letters, and the commentaries are surrounding it in Rashi script.
6, 9 – 398 leaves. 28 cm.
Bound in two volumes. Semi-parchment. The first and last leaves are restored, including the title page. There is damage on the first and last pages to parts of lines and a few words. Also the left-hand margins of the title page are blemished and restored, missing apparently just a few words. Tiny moth holes. Stains due to age. Good condition.
This copy was in the possession of the sages of Yemen in previous generations. They left a few signatures on the title page, and on the leaf after the colophon. For example, ‘Shalom ben Yosef Tzahari’. And others, indecipherable.
