Specifications: [1] leaf, paper. 13×18 cm. Letter, on the back of which the Chazon Ish wrote a name for prayer. He was accustomed to write down names of people who asked him to pray for them on paper which he happened to have nearby.
Unique Features: The letter’s writer visited the Chazon Ish, and ever since he has been unable to have peace of mind. He notes the poor financial conditions of married yeshiva students who are great Torah scholars and are suffering from hunger and cold. He plans to publish articles which he is sending to the Chazon Ish, for their benefit, and asks that the Chazon Ish read them and add a number of lines by hand. He also asks to visit the Chazon Ish again at a time which will be determined, in order to receive guidance in the true way. On the back of the letter, the Chazon Ish wrote a name for prayer in his handwriting.
