Large leaf [25 lines] with rare Torah novellae about the Beit HaMikdash , with a blessing – also rare – in the margins. Entirely handwritten and signed by the posek hador , Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach. These novellae were not brought to print and have never been published.
They deal with the mishkan and the Beit HaMikdash , as to what materials they were made from, wood or silver, and regarding a Torah scroll in the Beit HaMikdash . The gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman concludes his letter with a rare blessing befitting the novellae: “I hereby conclude with a prayer that Hashem quickly bring us the joy of building the Temple and that we have the privilege of seeing it in its glory.”
Aside from the Torah value of this manuscript as unknown novellae by the rabbinic leader of the generation on rare topics that were not his main occupation, there is also its inestimable segulah value as a manuscript written by a gadol hador for protection and success. For the benefit of the purchasers of this manuscript as a segulah, it is appropriate to note the fact that Rabbi Shlomo Zalman wrote the word kessef (silver/money) several times in this letter, a segulah for wealth and sustenance.
