Ohel Ya’akov – meshalim by the maggid of Dubno. Two parts: Sefer Bamidbar [Königsberg] 1861 [should be: 1859] and Sefer Devarim [Königsberg], 1859. First editions. The gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky’s signature is featured on the title page of both sefarim : “Chaim Kanievsky, Bnei Brak.”
Many glosses along the length of both sefarim , including some lengthy ones. The glosses are in two different scripts (block and cursive). Some of the glosses in block script are stamped “Ma’amar.” Early owner’s signature from the time of printing at the beginning of the section on Devarim: “Mordechai Meizlish.” The back flyleaf in the part on Devarim bears an especially lengthy notation on Torah topics.
