Dozens of lines of scholarly glosses along the entire length of the book, some especially lengthy, entirely handwritten by gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich. Most of the glosses are lengthy and scholarly, and have apparently never been printed.
Owner’s notations at the top of the title page by the Lechem Shlomo’s son, the gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Ehrenreich, along with signatures from other family members. Antique notations detailing the transfer of this important book’s ownership with the Lechem Shlomo’s novellae along its leaves. There is also a handwritten transcription at the top of the title page of the Lechem Shlomo’s stamp from the period in which he served as the av beit din of Tshabe: “Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich, abdk”k Tshabe and environs.”
