Volume with a pair of sefarim authored by the Kabbalist Rabbi Zechariah Mendel, one of the leading disciples of the Pnei Yehoshua, known to all as Rabbi Leibush Rosh HaMedinah: Menorat Zechariah/Zechariah Meshalem . Frankfurt D’Oder [1176/1779 respectively]. First edition of the Sefer Menorat Zechariah , and only edition of Sefer Zechariah Meshalem .
Over [50] handwritten glosses and revisions from just after the printing appear along the leaves of the book, some certainly written by the author himself – four are signed with his initials: ז”מ.
The protective leaf bears several signatures written clearly in block letters “The youth Meir Leibush Malbi”m.” Comparison to other signatures of the Malbi”m, it does not appear to be his signature, but it may be that it was in his possession. Many undeciphered signatures appear in the title pages and the protective leaves: “Yoel b”r Tuvi’, ” “Bought with my own funds for the honor of my Creator, the youth Yisrael HaKohen …” and more.
