Complete set of Mishneh Torah L’HaRamba”m – the Ya”d HaChazakah – 14 parts in five volumes. Warsaw, Kalinberg Press, 1881-1882. Sefer HaRamba”m is considered, from the time it was written close to 1000 years ago until our times, to be one of the most important works of adjudicative literature. This set was used by the gaon Rabbi Pinchas HaLevi Bilitzer, av beit of Szerencs, grandson of the renowned Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Bilitzer. Three of the volumes bear lyrical signatures “Baruch Hashem, Who has been wondrously kind and granted me this, may He also grant that I study and teach, preserve and fulfill. This is the prayer of the youth Pinchas HaLevi Bilitzer of Szerencs, in Munkacs.” (In another volume, there is a signature hidden by a glued-on paper, possibly also by Rabbi Pinchas.) One volume bears owners’ stamps of the gaon Rabbi Menachem Segal Pollack, son-in-law and successor of Rabbi Pinchas. Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for brief biographies of Rabbi Pinchas Segal HaLevi Bilitzer av beit din of Szerencs and Rabbi Menachem Pollack av beit din of Szerencs . [5] volumes, 31.5-32 cm.
