Artistic, cloth belt made in honor of a Kohen in Djerba. Hebrew embroidery at one end: ע”ה מאיר כהן ס”ט ג’רבא. French embroidery on the other end: M. Meyer De G. Cohen. H.S. Djerba 1923.
The belt was used on special occasions throughout the year. Beautiful, external belt.
Long belt: 280 cm; 7.5 cm. wide; eye-catching and colorful. Thick, compressed embroidery. Red, blue, green, orange, yellow, turquoise, pink, beige, purple.
The embroidery threads at both ends lead into 10 braids. These braids are then joined together into one long braid at both ends. The braids at both ends were then used to tie the belt. Colorful, cotton threads.
