Precise Chumash with “kri” and “ktiv,” printed according to a proofread Chumash belonging to Yeshayah HaLevi Horowitz – the Shla”h, whose Targum and commentary by Rash”i were also proofread. The Chumash was edited by Rabbi Chaim Feivel of Bumsla, son-in-law of the author of Shla”h, who also added an elucidation to the Targums, references, and more. The chumash was printed in the Shla”h’s lifetime. With the five megillahs with commentaries, and Targum Sheni with an elucidation by Rabbi Chaim Feivel, and with haftarahs for the whole year with a dedicated title page.
Before us is a complete copy of an especially rare book. There is no complete copy in the National Library, only an incomplete one from the Mehlman Library, and a partial copy from the Valmadonna Library. To the best of our knowledge, it has not appeared at public auction.
