Printed sheet bearing a three-page summary of the rabbis’ speeches in Kfar Gidon during their “Journey through the Colonies” that took place in 1925 in the JNF Jezreel Valley colonies. Written and printed by the JNF press offices in Jerusalem. [1925]. Copy print.
A short introduction is followed by passages from the participating rabbis’ speeches: The Ashkenazic chief rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kook; the Sephardic chief rabbi, Rabbi Ya’akov Meir; Rabbi Shlomo Aronson, rabbi of Tel Aviv; Rabbi Baruch Marcus, rabbi of Haifa, and a short message from Rabbi Abba Ya’akov Baruchov.
In contrast with the famous “Journey through the Colonies” of 1914, the 1925 journey is unfamiliar and has not been sufficiently studied. This document is a rare remnant of this historic journey.
