Halachic ruling from the Bada”tz Kollelot HeChassidim in Jerusalem – the official Bada”tz of the Chassidic sects in Jerusalem. Signed by the Ra”avad Rabbi David Lipman Shubkas, and the adjudicators: Rabbi Yosef Yehudah Shtrassberg and Rabbi Avraham son of Rabbi David HaKohen. The ruling is stamped with the official stamp of Bada”tz Chassidim. On the reverse side of the leaf, while relating to the ruling of the Bada”tz Chassidim on the other side of the leaf, Bada”tz Ashkenazim Perushim of Jerusalem joins the ruling. Signed by the Ra”avad Rabbi Moshe Nachum Wallenstein and the adjudicators Rabbi Aryeh Leib Hershler and Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank. The ruling is signed with the official stamp of Bada”tz Perushim. The ruling deals with the “chazakah” of the tenant of a Western shop, with the right to claim “dmei chazakah” from another tenant who wants to rent the same property. Due to lack of enforcement measures, the adjudicators add a threat in the form of a curse to befall he who does not apply the ruling: “…בארור רח”ל, ולטותא דרבנן דלית לא אסותא [curse with no cure, Heaven forbid], he who breaches the fence will live by a snake, Heaven forbid, and he who heeds it will be blessed.” Jerusalem, 1908. The rarity of this ruling is essentially the joining of the two courts in a joint ruling. [1] leaf paper. 28 cm. Written on both sides. Moderate-fine condition. Fold marks. Aging stains and glue.
