Rare and beautiful letter from the Admo”r of Munkacs, the Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Leib Rabinowitz – one of the leading Admo”rim of our generation. Sent to his brother-in-law in Jerusalem. It includes a repeated request to attend the Rebbe’s eldest son’s wedding [the young Rebbe, Rabbi Yerucham Fishel]. Brooklyn, New York [c. 1960].
The letter was sent to the Admo”r’s brother-in-law, Rabbi Chananyah Yosef Eisenbach of Jerusalem, and the Rebbe urges him “a second time” to come to America to attend the Rebbe’s firstborn son’s wedding. The Rebbe, who knew the financial condition of his brother-in-law, who was studying Torah and engaged in Divine service in Yerushalayim shel Ma’alah , emphasizes in the letter “We are sending you a round-trip ticket.”
