Unique Features: On the title page of Nachalat Shivah is the signature of Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Yaffe of Berlin, one of the Dayanim of Hamburg.
Background: Rabbi Rafael HaCohen brought him with him from Berlin when he came to serve as Rabbi of Altona, Hamburg and Wandsbek. He was one of the Dayanim of Hamburg who encouraged the Rabbis to fight against the Temple in Hamburg, as described in the book Eleh Divrei HaBrit, died in 1823 (Refer to Chachmei Ah”u number 99).
