Rabbi Shmuel of Medina, known by the nickname Maharshdam 5266-5300 [1506-1589] was one of great Sages of Saloniki, Greece. He was the head of the Beth Din and renown Arbiter, who was sent queries from different lands, and served also as the Rosh Yeshivah. His Book of Responsa is one of the most important books of Responsa. Responsa of Maharshdam was first printed during the author’s lifetime when he was elderly, however, there were many errors in it, and after only several years his son Rabbi Moshe of Medina printed the amended book and added to it additional responses. This is an amended and complete edition. Important set of responses of one of the great poskim (arbiters) in the period of the early Achronim. Holes and moth marks. In general in good condition.
