Unique features: Thousands of handwritten corrections, comments and novellae from the 17th century. Sketches were even added to the laws of Eiruvin. Includes “Klalei HaShemuah” and “Piska Dish’matita,” which summarizes differences of opinions and opinions on the issue. Some locations refer to “HaTikunim,” a reference to Tikunei HaRif written by Rabbi Shmuel del Vecchio, that survived in tens of manuscripts but was never printed. In addition, the handwritten comments include excerpts from Rashi and Tosfot, as accepted in Italy after the burning of the Talmud.The form of the writing and character of the revisions indicate that they were made by proficient Torah scholars, and possibly even from ancient sources. A random check of a few glosses indicate that there is a gloss on every location that the “Bach”, in his comments on the Rif, felt that there was a problem with the text.
