Admor Mordechai of Neshchiz (1741-1800) was a disciple of Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Zlotchov – the Maggid of Zlotchov – and established the Neschiz dynasty. He was a nasi of the “Kupat Maot Eretz HaKodesh B’Polin,” and then established the Volin kollel. On leaf [2,b]: good behaviors…azharot from Maran…[Rabbi Yechiel Michel] of Zlotchov.
Pedigreed copy: the title page bears the stamp of Rabbi Nachum Dovber Friedman of Sadigura, and the stamp “minchat shai.” He also added a notation and signature: [in Hebrew] “This book belongs to Nachum Dovber Friedman.” Sticker on the back of the binding: “Library of Nachum Dov Friedman of Sadigura.”Rabbi Menachem Nachum Dov of Sadigura (1843-1883) had a very large library. He marked the source of each book. This book is stamped “minchat shai,” meaning that he received it as a gift from his chassidim.
