* Semichah letter in the hand of Rabbi Yeshayahu Asher Yolles (1892-1944), third generation of Sambor Chassidut, author of Shemen HaRosh , rabbi of the Agudat Yisrael, killed in the Holocaust.
29.5×21.5 cm. Stationery with his signature and stamp. Sambor was a small chassidut near Lemberg in the Ukraine (and then Galicia), near the Stryi River. It was founded by Rabbi Uri HaKohen Yolles who studied by Rabbi Yosef Shaul Notenhausen and led the chassidut left in Stratin after the death of the “Saraf of Sterlisk.” Rabbi Asher Yeshayahu was a grandson of Rabbi Uri HaKohen.
With an additional handwritten letter on stationery from family member Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Yolles, who served as rabbi in the neighboring town of Turka. 22.5×15 cm. Fold marks. Fine condition.
