Average size 30×38 cm. Two of the woodcuts are doubles. Siegmund Forst was born in Vienna in 1904. He studied at the Art Academy in Vienna. In 1939, he emigrated to the United States where he designed fonts, illustrated children’s books, made engravings and focused on Jewish motifs and holidays.
