The author was a kabbalist who lived in Morocco during the lifetime of the Ar”i, yet did not know him nor his doctrine. There are kabbalistic sages who found kabbalistic matters in this book that match the Ar”i’s kabbalah. Rabbi Aharon HaSaboni of Salé proofread and wrote comments on the book, introducing, inter alia, the Ar”i’s words. 7, 75 leaves, the last leaf is lacking. 18 cm.

One of the early and foundational books of kabbalah; Maran the Beit Yosef cites this book. It is said in the name of the Ar”i that this book is the key to kabbalistic wisdom; and it is said in the name of the Vilna Gaon that the Vilna Gaon instructed his disciples to start the study of kabbalah with this book. 7-92 leaves. The beginning is lacking. 18 cm.
The two books contain dozens of kabbalistic glosses and comments in Sephardic scripts. Most of the comments are in one script, and several comments are in other scripts. There is an owner’s signature in one place: Aharon Cohen.
