Rabbi Eliyahu Yosef Kischbraun was one of the founders of the World Agudat Yisrael movement, and he served as its chairman in Poland, he founded the Jewish hospital in Warsaw and served as the head of the community in Warsaw and as a delegate in the Sejm (the Polish parliament) until his passing in 1931.
