Background: The author Rabbi Chaim son of Rabbi Bezalel lived in the same period as the Rema, and in the small work before us he systematically and emphatically disagrees with many dozens of his rulings, and even expresses general reservations about the Rema’s work (!). He was the brother of the Maharal of Prague and is known for his book Sefer HaChaim .
Unique Features: Especially rare book. With important approbations. An approbation from the ‘Chacham Zvi, ‘ who wrote that printing the book will cause pleasure the author’s soul. And with a long and interesting approbation from Rabbi Moshe Chagiz of Jerusalem, who writes about the book’s content and the method of ruling.
