[2] 173 pages, 31 cm. The first book of Rabbi Yehoshua David Povarsky [1902-1999], who helmed the Ponovezh Yeshiva for over fifty years.
The title page notes “section one”, however, no more were printed. Rabbi Povarsky later printed more books titled Yeshuat David on other topics. On the title page, the author’s address is listed as Baranowitz in the Nowogrodek region. At the time, he lived in Baranowitz, where he studied in Rabbi Elchanan Wasserman’s ‘Kollel’ and taught classes in the yeshiva there. The endpaper bears the author’s inscription to Rabbi Fishman-Maimon.
