Specifications : Approx. 125 leaves. 27 cm. The work before us is the section on chumashim: Vayikra, Bamidbar and Devarim. Among the texts are also remarks made at different times and events.
Special Features: To the best of our knowledge, most of the handwritten manuscript was not printed. Likewise, the beginning of the volume bears the gabbai’s handwritten signature confirming that the handwritten manuscript is the Admor’s, and that the printed book was not printed from these leaves.
The Admor Rabbi Chaim Yehudah Meir Hager of Vishiva was born in 1912 to his father, the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager of Vishiva, who was the son of the Admor of Vizhnitz, author of Ahavat Yisrael, under whom this grandson studied. He became known as a Torah scholar and teacher. He survived the events of the Holocaust, and then engrossed himself with encouraging the survivors. He moved to the United States in 1946 and reestablished Vishiva chassidut. He was called to lead Vishiva chassidim in the Land of Israel in 1960, and established his study hall in Tel Aviv. He passed away in 1969. His Torah teachings were printed in the books Zecher Chaim .
