Unique collection of Israeli postcards, most published by Palphot. Most of the postcards in the collection depict scenery and various sites in kibbutzim, villages, and small cities throughout Israel. Including: Emek Zevulen, Ramat Yochanan, Ceaseara, Ma’ayan Charod, Tel Dan, Kibbutz Degania B, Gan HaShlosha, Kevutzat Geva, Beit Shean, HaGilboa, Megiddo, Matzada, Kiryat Tivon, Rosh HaNikra, Metula, the Hermon, Amirim and Komran. Some postcards were printed in honor of the 40th anniversary of Ein Charod [1961] and more. The collection also includes various postcards of Eilat and the Sinai: The Undewater Observatory in Eilat, Yam Suf, Eilat’s Coral Beach, Nuweiba, Sinai, and Sharm El Sheikh – Mifratz Shlomo. It also includes a postcard in a unique format [21×11 cm.] of the Herzliya beach. A few of the postcards depict miscellaneous images: vacationers, Israeli arabs, and Bedouin families. Average size 14×9 cm. All are colored, other than two. Some were posted. Very fine condition.
