The portfolio was published in a limited edition of only 150 copies and was dedicated as a gift to the artist’s son Dan. In the preface written by D. A. Friedman, he notes: “The original lithographs in this portfolio made by artist Esther Berlin-Yoel excel in their technical excution and bear the stamp of the personality of the artist who has been working in paint and sketch since she was sixteen years old….reality, as is, is always before the artist, and she does not run after the the games of techniques or aesthetic or artistic quailites…” Includes: baby, daughter of the desert, market in Kiryat Shemonah, youth at the Haifa port and more.
