The book is in an album format, including 252 photographs documenting all the stages of the holocaust of the Jews of Poland. From the time the Nazis entered Poland, the anti-Semitic propaganda, the ghetto, extermination camps, the partisans, and until after the liberation in 1945. With an introduction in Polish, Russian, English, French, Yiddish and Hebrew. Next to each picture is a short explanation in all the languages. The book was printed in December 1945, and apparently this is the first album-format book that documents through pictures the series of events in the destruction of Polish Jewry. New binding on top of the original black soft cover. Very good condition.
