Rabbi Simcha Bunim of Peshischa (1765-1827) was a genius and righteous person. He was a Chassidic giant – the successor of the “Yehudi HaKadosh” of Peshischa. In his youth, he studied by Rabbi Mordechai Bennet of Nikolsburg, and also studied languages and science. He later became attracted to chassidut and attached himself to the Chozeh of Lublin. He greatly impacted the Chassidic movement. His Torah was collected in this work and the “Kol Mevaser”. A few of his pilpulim and novellae on the Talmud are included at the end of the work.

Rabbi Avraham Azulai (1570-1643) was a holy kabalist and genius. He was born in Fez, Morocco and immigrated to Eretz Yisrael where he settled in Hebron and Jerusalem. He was a disciple of Rabbi Chaim Vital.
The two books are bound together, 20 cm. Very fine condition.
