Thick notebook with approximately [290] pages, insights on Talmudic topics handwritten by the gaon, the tzaddik Rabbi Moshe Finkel, son of the Alter of Slobodka, about whom the Meshech Chochmah attested that had he not passed away young, he would have reached the level of the Ketzot HaChoshen!
Rabbi Moshe was a prolific writer and his writing was like his thinking – fluent and quick. An interesting fact that can be noted in the manuscript is that on almost every page, towards the lower lines, the writing becomes denser. Instead of four lines, seven are squeezed in, even eight or nine!
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Moshe Finkel.
