Beautiful proofread edition of the Lechem Mishneh commentary – one of the most important commentaries on the Ramba”m’s Mishneh Torah, by Rabbi Avraham di Buton. Four parts bound together with four separate title pages. The first three parts were printed in 1703 at Emmanuel Attias’s printing house; the fourth was printed in 1714 by the printer Shlomo Proops. In later editions it was inserted into the Ramba”m’s Mishneh Torah where it became part of the now familiar leaf format of ‘HaRamba”m V’Nosei Keilav.’ [3], 49; 52; 54; 70 leaves. 35 cm. Colorful page cuts. With a dedication in Portuguese by the printer Landvan Ya’akov Chizkiyah Mashado. Very fine condition. Semi-parchment binding.
