Beautiful, lengthy and important letter handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Kalisher, one of the unique gedolei hadorot ever to have arisen among the Jewish people, and primary disciple of the gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger and the Netivot HaMishpat. Sent to his son’s brothers-in-law, sons of the renowned Warsaw gvir Rabbi Shlomo Blumberg. Torun, [Prussia, ] 1850.
Content of the letter: Setting a wedding date for his son. At the beginning of the letter is a lofty discussion about “Jewish souls are to be considered as one soul.” After his letter is a lengthy letter from his son, the bridegroom, Moshe? Kalisher and from his son Rabbi Yehudah Leib Kalisher (refer to the biography in the Hebrew catalog text).

[1] large sheet of paper, folded as a letter and divided into [4] written pages, 26×20 cm each. The fourth page serves as the front of the letter with the details of the sender and the addressee. Thin bluish paper.
Fine condition. Minimal tears as a result of opening the letter, without lack in the text.
