Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Rubin of Chechnov was born in 1881. His father, Rabbi Itzchak Tuvia Rubin was the son-in-law of Rabbi Hayim of Tzanz. Rabbi Aryeh Leibush married the daughter of uncle Rabbi Simcha ber Halberstam of Chechnov. Prior to WWI he was crowned an Admor. During the Holocaust he was exiled to Siberia where he died in 1942. All his writings were lost.
The Admor Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Babov (and the United States), was his son-in-law, and the last generation of the dynasty of the Admorim of Babov are his grandchildren.
