Handwritten letter from the Chassidic Master the Rayat”z [Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn] to his disciple Rabbi Shneor Zalman in which is an invitation to the wedding of hisdaughter the Rabbanit Sheina to Menachem Mendele Horenstein, grandson of the Chassidic Master HaMahara”sh [Rabbi Shmuel Shneerson].
The wedding was held on the 10th of Nissan, 1932 in the town of Landrava. As to the choice of the location, the Rayat”z writes elsewhere “… because of the current issues of restrictions and documents we limited the location of the wedding to the main road of the Landrava station in Poland.”

Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn (1880-1950), known as the Rayatz, was the sixth chassidic master of the Chabad Lubavitch dynasty, and served as its leader from 1920 until his death.
