Compilation of novellae in an unidentified script. It is evident that the writer was a great person who also taught Torah to disciples. In several places there are expressions such as ‘Point raised by a certain disciple [3b], ‘ ‘A student raised this point’ [1b].
We also found several signatures in the body of the writing, apparently from his disciples [in the past, it was customary that students would note their names for recollection in their teacher’s notebooks of novellae] on page [29b], the youth Michael Pesach Segal Austerlitz, currently residing here in the Tab community, and on p. 34b, the youth Avraham Rosenzweig.
The first 21 leaves are Talmudic novellae, as well as the final three leaves.
Leaves 22-36 are elucidations on the weekly Torah portions.
40 leaves written on both sides. 23×30 cm. Clear script.
Fine condition. Aging stains. The last leaf is torn.
