Rabbi Yechezkel Bennet, the av”d of Worhal, was the son of Gershon Wolf Bennet, rav”d in Ungvar and son-in-law of Rabbi Shlomo Gantzfried, author of the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch. He was a disciple of his grandfather (Rabbi Gantzfried) and Rabbi Chaim Zvi Manheimer, and son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Glick av”d Taltshova, and from 1889, Rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva in Worhal. He passed away on Rosh Chodesh Iyar 1913. “Ohaleim Shem” mentions a number of his works (p. 401), but only his “Shu”t Meishiv Ta’am” were printed.
The letter is divided into two – with a fold at center, without loss of text.
