Studied art in Lvov and Krakow and was a member of the Jewish Artists Association. Was imprisoned in the Lvov Ghetto and escaped to Caucasia. In 1947, he tried to immigrate illegally on the “Theodore Herzl” but was detained in Cyprus. In Israel he worked as an architect and joined the artists’ colony in Safed. The influence of modern art stands out in his works.
