Third edition of the Shulchan Aruch authored by Rabbi Shneur Zalman Shneerson, the Old Admor of Lubavitch. Rare book. On the first leaf is the stamp “The Holy Aharon Moshe Migeza Zvi of Brad.”
Rabbi Aharon Moshe Migeza Zvi [1774-1845] was a disciple of the Visionalry of Lublin and of Rabbi Uri of Strelisk, “HaSaraf, ” who was known as a great Hassidic sage who was also knowledgeable about mysticism. In 1739 he immigrated to Jerusalem and where he founded a chassidic neighborhood and was a Rosh Kollel. The will he wrote when he came to Jerusalem is well-known and was published immediately following his death. (See: Alfasi, Hassidic Encyclopedia, A, 195-196.)
