A photograph of the boat dock and the pier from November 1936 appears on the cover of the binder. Highlights: the temporary wooden bridge – the beginning of the unloading at the beach, volunteers on the port’s first day dancing with enthusiasm in the water, construction of the pier, shipments of citrus, demolition of rocks at the port, and more.
