kiyum chatimot (signature verifications). Each with the signatures of an
av beit din and two
dayanim.
*London Beit Din. Includes two signatures of the
av”d , Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky [1886-1976], author of
Chazon Yechezkel , and Rabbi Zvi Moshe Lazarus.
* Warsaw Beit Din. Includes the signature of the
av”d, Rabbi Shlomo David Kahana, prominent rabbi in Poland. After the Holocaust, he was rabbi in the Old City of Jerusalem and was known as the “father of the
agunot” because he dealt with this difficult issue after the war.
* Signatures of the
dayanim from Bendzin. Including the signature of
av”d Rabbi Menachem Mendel HaKohen Levin who succeeded his father Rabbi Chanoch Zvi HaKohen Levin, son-in-law of the “Sefat Emet, ” rabbi of Bendzin and leader of Polish Jewry, who passed away in 1935.
