The haggadah includes prayers for bedikat chametz and biur chametz and a prayer for before the seder which opens, “Master of the Universe, You know we are flesh …” The Ladino translation of Shir HaShirim was printed, but not the Chaldean (Aramaic) one. Hymns customarily recited by Askenazic communities are printed at the end of the haggadah, without Ladino translation.
Rare haggadah! Listed in Otzar HaHaggadot no. 618 according to a copy in the Florsheim Collection. Not listed by Ya’ari, and does not appear in the National Library’s collection.
40 leaves, 20 cm. A list of books in Ladino and a general list appear on the flyleaf; fine condition. Minimal characteristic wine stains. Jacket cover.
