“May Hashem help all your wishes to be granted for the good … the small one, Aharon of Belz”
Important Chassidic invitation from the Divinely sacred Admo”r Rabbi Aharon of Belz – leading Admo”r of his generation “The rebbes’ rebbe.” Unique sacred invitation to the wedding of his step-son, Rabbi Avraham Alter Pollack. Tel Aviv, 1955.
His third wife was Rebbetzin Channah, daughter of Rabbi Yechiel Chaim Labin of Makova, mother of the aforementioned bridegroom, and the rebbe adopted him as his own son, concerning himself with his education.
The rebbe relates to his step-son’s marriage as his own personal celebration, opening the invitation with the words: “We have, thank G-d, reached the marriage of my step-son … I hereby invite your honor to join our celebration.” Rabbi Aharon of Belz concludes his letter with blessings: “May Hashem help all your wishes to be granted for the good, your friend who looks forward to raising the banner of Torah soon, the small one, Aharon of Belz”
