An attempt was made to print the book in 1683, but only one quire was printed. Rabbi Binyamin Lydia (1630-1697) was a disciple of Rabbi Heschel of Krakow. He served as rabbi in a number of Polish communities before serving as rabbi of the Ashkenazic community in Amsterdam. He was forced to leave Amsterdam in wake of a controversy between him and the community trustees.
New binding. Wide margins. Light blemishes to the first leaves, light stains. Fine-very fine condition.
