Manuscript. A long, gushing, congratulatory letter on the occasion of the marriage of a young couple and the whole family, from Rabbi Yehuda Zarchia Segal.
Rabbi Yehuda Zarchia Mordechai Leib Chayim HaLevi Segal (1924-2001). One of the outstanding individuals of the last generations, a posek and kabbalist. He studied in [the yeshiva of] Łomża in Petach Tikva and for a while shared a room with his rabbi, Rav Shach, and was also friendly with the Chazon Ish, who praised his greatly. He was a rabbi in Tel Aviv frrom 1953 until his death. He was childless. Of his published writings are “Reishit HaAvoda” dealing with musar and chassidut, “Zemach Yehuda” on the Talmud and Shulchan Aruch, and “New interpretations of Rabbi Yehuda Zarchia.”
