Two compositions: Sipur Ba’al Peratzim. The mission’s attempt to convert the wife of a heretic and her son. Orchestrated with the help of the British consul, James Finn (1806-1872). Due to the efforts of Rabbi Ezriel Zelg Housdorf, the Austrian consulate Jozef Pezimuni, worked to allow the woman and child to live their lives in peace as Jews.

18, 8 pages. 12×18 cm. Handwritten by Rabbi Yaakov Halevi Sapir (1822-1885), the famed traveler to Yemen. Original, leather binding. Written in an exceptionally clear script. Excellent condition.
The two works were never printed and completely unknown.
